\nEncouraging children's independence, life skills, and positive behaviours. \nSupporting with education, activities, and social engagement. \nAddressing and managing challenging behaviours using de-escalation techniques.
\nMaintaining accurate records of children's care plans, daily logs, and incidents. \nEnsuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Home Standards. \nCompleting risk assessments and following health and safety protocols.
\nMonitoring and ensuring compliance with legislation and organizational policies. \nParticipating in inspections and audits, providing evidence of good practice. \nWorking alongside social workers, therapists, teachers, and healthcare professionals.
\nAttending and contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings. \n The ideal candidate for the Team Leader will have:\n\nNVQ Level 3/4 Residential Childcare. \nExperience working within a Children's setting, at least 6 months.
\nExperience in a supervisory or leadership role. \nSafeguarding training and knowledge of child protection procedures. \nEmpathy, patience, and resilience when working with vulnerable children.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to handle challenging behaviours effectively. \nExcellent organizational and administrative skills.
