Content & Communications Officer\n\nLocation: Central London, office-based with some travel\n\nSalary: £31,950 per annum\n\nVacancy Type: Permanent, Full-Time\n\nClosing Date: Monday 22nd  June 2026\n\nFinal Interviews: Thursday 25th June 2026\n\nAre you a creative storyteller with a passion for content and digital communications?\n\nWould you welcome the opportunity to work for a national charity supporting people with combined sight and hearing loss to live the lives they choose?\n\nDo you live within easy commuting distance of Central London?\n\nIf the answer to these questions is YES, we would love to hear from you.\n\nIn this exciting role as our new Content & Communications Officer, you will help amplify the voices of people living with deafblindness across the UK by creating engaging content, supporting impactful campaigns, growing digital audiences, and helping to strengthen one of the UK's fastest-growing charities.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nCreating compelling content for social media, websites, email campaigns, press and print\nProducing accessible photo and video content using tools such as Canva and CapCut\nDeveloping powerful case studies and human-interest stories\nSupporting fundraising campaigns, awareness initiatives and media activity\nManaging and scheduling content across multiple channels\nMonitoring digital performance and identifying opportunities to increase engagement\nCollaborating with colleagues across the organisation to bring stories and impact to life\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nYou will be an enthusiastic communications professional with:\n\nExperience in marketing, communications, PR or digital content\nExceptional writing and storytelling skills\nStrong social media and digital marketing knowledge\nExperience using CMS platforms, email marketing systems and scheduling tools\nConfidence in creating visual and video content\nExcellent organisational and relationship-building skills\nA commitment to inclusive and accessible communications\nWhy Join Deafblind UK?\n\nAt Deafblind UK, you'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to helping people with combined sight and hearing loss live the lives they choose.
