Their collaborative culture and strong growth trajectory make this an exciting time to join the business.\n\nYour new role\n\nAs a Habitat Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of habitat creation and enhancement projects across the South of England.\nWorking closely with a range of specialists, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting ecological and regulatory requirements.\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nManaging day-to-day delivery of habitat projects across multiple sites\nPlanning and tracking progress against milestones, targets, and budgets\nProcuring and coordinating contractors and suppliers\nOverseeing on-site delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance\nManaging risks, issues, and defects, escalating where required\nReviewing delivery methodologies and contributing to risk management processes\nEnsuring works meet ecological, contractual, and regulatory standards\nSupporting health, safety, and environmental compliance\nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders\nDriving efficient, value-for-money delivery\nWhat you'll need to succeed\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring a strong blend of practical land-based experience and project delivery capability.\nEssential:\n\nHands-on experience in some form of habitat delivery, restoration, creation, development etc.\nStrong knowledge of soils and grassland systems and ecological matters/constraints\nExperience managing contractors and site-based works\nProven project management experience (budgets, planning, scheduling)\nExperience working professionally with farmers and/or landowners\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills\nExcellent organisation, planning, and time management abilities\nA practical, solutions-focused mindset in live delivery environments\nAbility to balance cost, quality, and time constraints\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally\nDesirable:\n\nExperience in regulated or assurance-led environments\nFamiliarity with structured project controls (e.g. APM methodologies)\nHealth & Safety qualification (e.g.
