Field Technician – Metering\nAt IMSERV, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading energy data and metering specialists. We help businesses understand their energy use through smart metering technology and accurate data services for electricity, gas and water.\nNow we’re looking for skilled Field Technicians to join our growing team.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Regional Field Manager, you’ll be out on the road installing, maintaining and troubleshooting metering equipment at customer sites.\nYour day-to-day will include:\n * Installing and maintaining electricity meters (whole current, LV and HV)\n * Diagnosing and fixing faults on-site\n * Programming, reading and testing meters and related equipment\n * Inspecting meters and connections for defects or unauthorised connections\n * Supporting with installation and maintenance of complex BMS systems\n * Completing job reports and paperwork accurately and on time\n * Managing your van stock to make sure you’ve got what you need\n * Carrying out regular vehicle compliance checks\nYou’ll follow a daily schedule, working closely with our Work Management team if anything changes or you need support. We’re big on doing the job right first time and keeping customers informed along the way.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for experienced, safety-focused technicians who take pride in their work.\nYou’ll need:\n * SMICOP qualification\n * At least 24 months’ experience installing electric meters\n * Good knowledge of metering setups and equipment\n * A full UK driving licence\nWhat You’ll Get\nWe believe in looking after our people.
